I am thinking of going to Wdw in Sept. It looks like there are no evening parades or fireworks. Is this true?

Hi Deborah! We have had many questions about the September schedule posted on the Disney website. After asking many questions about why there is a lack of Wishes showing we were told that they just haven't figured out the September times yet. This is a month that is a transition month with kids being back in school but some of the snow birds starting to come south. The Food and Wine Festival starts up the end of the month which draws crowds and guests but I think Disney likes to see how the resort bookings are before setting the times for the parks. They are likely also deciding on the nights for the upcoming season of Mickey's Not So Scary Halloween Party as that usually begins in September.

I was assured by a cast member that the Magic Kingdom will always have a parade and fireworks unless there is a buy out of the park which happens only occasionally and certainly not every night. Disney does work in mysterious ways sometimes but I will go with what this cast member says and believe that the most magical of the parks, Magic Kingdom, will continue to share that night time magic with the guests!
