We are thinking about going to WDW during the 3rd week in August this year or the 3rd week in September. Is there much temperature difference between those two months? Is the heat and humidity in August unbearable?

    Hi Stacy:

My family has been traveling to Walt Disney World for years over various months.  I'll be honest, Florida can be hot and humid in August and into September.  While I can't guarantee what the weather will be like, in general, temperatures in mid-August hover in the 80's and even can reach into the low 90's.  Mid-September is generally sliiiiiightly cooler by a degree or two and sliiiiiighly less humid.

But I always find that anytime is a great time to visit Disney World.  We visited this past August, and did not find the temperature or humidity to be unbearable.  We enjoyed our time in the Parks and even visited both Water Parks.

Since you are flexible with your travel dates, I would lean towards September since it's likely to be a bit cooler and because more schools will be in session, which generally means smaller crowds.

    Enjoy your vacation.
