We are thinking of visiting the WDW water parks in late February/Early March. Weather wise - will we be ok? Or will it be too cold to be swimming all day?

Amanda, thank you for swimming on over to the Disney Parks Moms Panel!

I see that you hail from the Great White North, just like me! If winters in Alberta are anything like they are here in Ontario, then swimming in February or March sounds totally crazy, right? First, all Disney Resort hotel pools are heated, so you never have to worry about the pool being too chilly, even if the weather might be. When it comes to weather, central Florida winters are pretty unpredictable and you will get a better idea of what the temperatures will be like a week or so before you head out. I have visited in January and it was well above 35 degrees Celsius! Then again, I have visited in December when the mercury dipped down to 0 degrees Celsius! Even at a comfortable 20 or so degrees Celsius, I would take the opportunity to go for a dip in the pool. Fair warning, you may be asked if you are from Canada when you take a plunge at that temperature, as most locals find it too chilly! Lucky for us, we are acclimated for our harsh and cold winters!

I also want to point out that a great new Special Offer has just been released! Canadian residents can now save 20% on the advance purchase of 4-Day or longer tickets! Tickets are valid November 1, 2017 through December 31, 2018 and can be purchased through February 10, 2018!

Happy planning and don’t forget to pack your swimsuit and some sunscreen!
