Thinking of visiting WDW last full week of August. Has anyone been during this time? Wondering about crowd level. Also, how many hours would you allow for Thyphoon Lagoon with 3 kids under 8? Thanks. Love the panel!

Hi Kimberly - we've been to Disney a few times the later part of August and have found the crowds to be quite manageable.  Most of the schools in Florida and other states are in session or are about to start school.  When school is in session, the crowds tend to be more manageable.

As far as your question on Typhoon Lagoon. I would recommend you go early and play it by ear.  I think after 3-4 hours you can gage them to see how they're doing.  They may have had enough at that point or they may be willing to go another couple hours..  You'll want to keep them well hydrated due to the heat and humidity.  Also, do keep an eye on the skies.  In August you will have pop up thunderstorms (especially in the afternoon) that seem to come out of nowhere.

I hope this helps.  Have a fabulous vacation!  Diane  :)
