We are thinking of visiting MK on a day with Very Merry Christmas Party. We don't plan to stay for the party. Will anything close earlier than 7? Will crowds grow before 7? Is anything else affected for day guests?

    Hi Kim!

My favorite time to visit Walt Disney World is during the holiday season.  Even though you will not be attending Mickey's Very Merry Christmas Party, you will still be able to see the Magic Kingdom decorated!

You will not miss anything if you plan on going to the Magic Kingdom on a party day.  Everything that is open during the day will remain open until at least 7pm.  Yes, the crowds will grow prior to 7pm because of guests coming in that are attending the party.  In the past, party guests have been allowed entrance a little early.  This really shouldn't affect you much, so keep enjoying the attractions until you are directed to leave.  You will not be "kicked out" right at 7pm, but the Cast Members will start checking for party bracelets and start ushering day guests towards the exit.

    Have a magical day!
