We are thinking of visiting DW arriving the day before Thanksgiving & staying until the following Wed. Is it too late to plan something and would our dates not be the best? We have 6 & 9 yr old girls and considering the Boardwalk Inn - ideas??.

Ahhh, this question brings back memories of my very first Thanksgiving trip to Walt Disney World!  My then new husband came home from work the day before Thanksgiving and announced we were going to Disney World!  With no kids to pack, we were in the car in an hour and at the Magic Kingdom at noon Thanksgiving day.  Needless to say, our Thanksgiving dinner consisted of a turkey leg from a cart and a side of popcorn, but we had a great time, and it was my first experience with the magical Christmas season at Walt Disney World!

The first thing you need to do is check availability, and as long as you can be flexible when it comes to things like dining reservations and hotel options, I would say this is an awesome idea!  Thanksgiving day and the weekend will be busy, without a doubt, but you can utilize Fast Pass as often as possible and just go with the expectation that you may not get to see and do everything, but you'll have an awesome time doing what you do!  Things should ease up a bit after the holiday weekend.

The Boardwalk Inn is a beautiful resort, convenient to EPCOT, and has a whole fun filled life of it's own each evening.  I think this resort is well suited to girls the ages of your own little princesses.  And the pool is pretty awesome too - my nine year old threw that part in!

I hope if you choose to go that you have an absolutely magical vacation!
