We were thinking of visiting Disney World in May 2019 and were hoping to stay at an All Star Hotel. I notice that all three seem to be unavailable for the whole month of May. Do you know why this is, maintenance perhaps? Thank you!

Welcome to the Disney Parks Moms Panel, Meghan! Your 2019 visit is sure to be extra magical during the mirthful month of May.

Epcot will be hosting their International Flower & Garden Festival, which will be abloom with floral arrangements, blooming cocktails and small plates, all throughout the Park. When booking your lodgings, I’m sure it was frustrating to see no availability at your preferred Walt Disney World Resort Hotel. This may be because Spring Break happens across the country in March and April, but we in the south break from school in the middle of this month. May-Day means we’re sprung free from studying and heading down to celebrate in the Most Magical Place on Earth. There also may be some refurbishments at Disney’s All-Star Music Resort or Disney’s All-Star Sports Resort to match the unbelievably wonderful updated rooms at Disney’s All-Star Movies Resort. You may also be matched up against the spring concerts, school trips and even some sporting events that occur at this time of year.

Please try Disney’s Pop Century Resort as it’s my favorite value resort at Walt Disney World Resort or perhaps Disney’s Art of Animation Resort with it’s intricate theming. I look forward to helping you plan your vacation. I’ll see ya’ real soon! ~ Lindsey P.
