Thinking about visiting beaches & cream soda shop on our next trip but 2 of my kids have food allergies. Anyone have any experience with food allergies? We are wheat, egg, peanut, tree nut & sesame. Thx!!

    Hi Melinda:

Disney World restaurants are able to accommodate many food allergies or intolerances.  In fact, outside of your own home, I imagine Disney World is the place to dine with food allergies.

I would start by looking at Disney's Special Dietary Requests
page for more detailed information, and you'll see that Disney World has your specific needs covered.  At counter service restaurants, let the Cast Member taking your order know in advance about allergies.  If dining in a sit-down restaurant, just note the allergy to the reservationist.  You should also inform your server about any allergies as you are seated at the restaurant.  You are also free to ask to speak to the chef or manager when you arrive at the restaurant.

    Enjoy your vacation.
