We are thinking about using Lyft or Uber to get to Magic Kingdom and Epcot. We have a 2 year old. Could we store our car seat somewhere? Looks like the lockers are not big enough.

Hello and welcome to planDisney, Jeffry!

Thank you for stopping by today with a great question. I cannot wait for you to experience the magic of the Walt Disney World Resort through the eyes of your little Mouseketeer!

I am currently planning a Disney vacation with our youngest daughter - she will be 23-months-old at the time of our visit. We will be staying at a Disney Resort hotel to enjoy benefits like transportation to and from Orlando International Airport with Disney’s Magical Express and complimentary transportation throughout the Walt Disney World Resort. I love using the convenient Walt Disney World Transportation System to take my family to the theme parks and not worrying about driving while on vacation.

Sometimes, however, we have early morning breakfast reservations at restaurants located in other Disney Resort hotels, or want to get back to our hotel as fast as possible in the evening – that is when using a ride share service comes in handy! My fellow panelist Betsy has recently provided great tips for a family planning a car-free vacation! I love that she shared her personal experience using a ride share service with her children, and I made sure to take notes for my upcoming visit with our infant. As Betsy points out in her answer, using a ride share service is the most convenient option since lockers available for rental at the theme parks are not large enough to accommodate a car seat. Please note that alternative storage options are not available.

planDisney tips: There is so much for little ones to see and do at The Most Magical Place on Earth! Remember to check the pixie-dusted experiences designed with younger kids in mind, and take advantage of conveniences like stroller rentals and Baby Care Centers located at all four theme parks.

It was a pleasure answering your question, Jeffry! I hope this helps you while planning and that you stop by once again real soon for more tips and advice.

    Best magical wishes,
    Thiana
