Thinking of upgrading from CBR to BC for September trip with DH, DS5, DD16mo. In reality, how long does it take to walk to Epcot from BC, to HS (and how long for boat)? Would it be quicker to walk to Epcot and take monorail to MK or bus to MK from BC?

Hi Krystal!  The Yacht and the Beach Club resorts have been our home resorts for many years.  We choose them because of their great location between two of the Disney parks.

The walk to Epcot from the Beach Club lobby is about 5 minutes at a normal pace. If you are in a room that is in the wing closest to the Epcot entrance you can leave via a door closer and then the walk to the International Gateway entrance is just about 3 minutes.

The walk to Hollywood Studios is about a mile long and takes about 15-20 minutes. We like to walk to the Studios in the morning when it is cooler and then take the boat back to the resort in the afternoon. The boat ride is actually about the same and sometimes we have even beaten the boat to the entrance when walking.

It is absolutely best to take the bus to the Magic Kingdom from the Beach Club. It only takes about 17 minutes once you load and it drops you off conveniently right at the park entrance! Walking through Epcot to catch the monorail would at least triple your time!
