Thinking about a two day trip to Disneyland on October 14-15. Are there any special events going on at the parks on these days (Halloween parties or Food and Wine festivals, etc.) We are trying to avoid crazy crowds.

    Hello Mason,

Thanks for stopping by planDisney with your question.

The best way to check out all that's going on at the Disneyland Resort is to take a look at the Park Hours Calendar. You'll see a quick and at-a-glance view of the scheduled hours for Disneyland Park and Disney California Adventure Park. The Park Hours Calendar will also highlight special events like Oogie Boogie Bash – A Disney Halloween Party and Plaza de la Familia.

Halloween Time is, of course, a super popular (or should I say super spooktacularly popular) season to celebrate at the Disneyland Resort. With all the happy and hauntingly fun decorations, festive fall chills, and ghoulishly grand delights, there's so much to see and do that is sure to attract all the spirited spirits and then some.

It's always a good idea to take a look at the Theme Park Reservation Availability calendar as you start to plan your visit. You'll be able to see when the theme parks have reservations available for you to select. When you do purchase your new theme park tickets, you can both purchase your tickets and make your theme park reservations at the same time.

Here's wishing you a wonderful and fun time when you visit the Disneyland Resort.

Mason, I can't say if you'll encounter crazy crowds when you visit in October, but you're sure to encounter crazily frightfully fun magical moments.

Meet the Panelist: Jerry, Pennsylvania

The playful and creative optimism of all things Disney has enthralled me since I was a kid. I loved watching "The Wonderful World of Disney" on Sunday nights, seeing all the live-action and animated classics in theaters, and — of course — visiting "The Most Magical Place on Earth" for the first time 45 years ago. These days, the big kid in me still loves to play Disney. As a long-time Disney destinations vacationer, I'm looking forward to helping you play Disney starting here at planDisney!
