Thinking of a trip on 12/30 - 1/5 and wondering just how crowded the parks usually are during this time frame?

Hi Lynn! Generally once New Years happens the parks will thin out.  That is strictly from past numbers and we all know how things can change and become unpredictable!  January is usually a good month for crowds but the weather is not as warm and inviting to many northern visitors.  The weekend of the Disney marathon, January 11, which is always in this month is a bit more crowded as well as Martin Luther Kings birthday weekend. But these crowds are less then other holidays and still very bearable for the attraction lines! Park hours may be shorter in early January but that means you can do all you want in a shorter amount of time because crowds are less!
