Thinking about a trip 1/5-1/10/2015. Will it be warm enough to swim and how are the crowds?

Hello and welcome to the Moms Panel!

Historically, the crowds are very low days after the New Year.  It looks like you will certainly enjoy your visit due to your travel dates.  The weather can be a tricky matter.  It can be cold or it may be very warm.  There is no prediction at this point and you will need to check your 10 day weather forecast once your vacation date gets closer in order to begin your packing.  The good news is that swimming at Walt Disney World happens year round.  Disney keeps all their pools at a constant 82 degrees so that guests can enjoy them no matter what time of the year they visit.  I have been in the pools when the weather was 50 degrees.  The pool was so enjoyable! Now making it back inside the resort, well, that is a whole other story.  Just have a nice and warm cover-up should the weather be chilly.
