Hello! We're thinking of a trip for May 2013. We are a family of 5, our kids will be at that time 19, 18 and 10, any resort recommendations? We are open to 1 large room, connected rooms but NOT at Kidani as we stayed there in 2010, LOVED it but want new.

    Hi Heather!

Thank you for sending in your question to the Walt Disney World Moms Panel!

I suggest staying at a Magic Kingdom monorail resort if you have never done that before.  It is a great experience that everybody should try at least once.  I would recommend getting two connecting rooms at the Contemporary Resort or the Polynesian.  I like the theming of the Polynesian better and like its Table Service restaurants more, but the Contemporary has a great location being within walking distance of the Magic Kingdom.  The Contemporary also gives you easy access to both Bay Lake and the Seven Seas Lagoon if anybody in your family wants to go boating.  Of course, it is very easy to get to the Contemporary from the Polynesian via the monorail.

All of that said, if you think you will be spending more of your time at Epcot or Disney's Hollywood Studios, then I would recommend staying at the Beach Club.  It is a five minute walk from the Beach Club to Epcot's International Gateway entrance located between the France and United Kingdom pavilions in World Showcase.  There is also boat service to both Epcot and Disney's Hollywood Studios.  It also has the best pool on property which all of your children may enjoy.

I hope this helps!  Please write back with more questions!
