We are thinking of traveling back to Disneyworld early November 2012. Everything I have read indicates that the new Beauty and the Beast castle and the new Ariel ride will be open late 2012. Do you know if these will be open by early November?

    Hi there, Paula!

While rumors and speculation abound regarding the incredible Fantasyland expansion, the official word that has come down from Walt Disney World is that these attractions will have a rolling opening beginning in "late 2012."

Disney has kept tight control over the information released about the expansion, including exact opening dates, grand opening celebrations, and so on.

Your best bet for up-to-the-minute official information is to follow (and subscribe to) the Disney Parks Blog, which is a fantastic repository of current scoop.

Unfortunately, there is no way of telling with any certainty when these highlight attractions will open. My suggestion would be to schedule your vacation in as late of the year as possible for your schedule in order to maximize the number of attractions that have rolled out.

    Have a wonderful time!

    See you later, celebrator,
    -Deborah B.
