I was thinking about taking my 1 year old son to the Rainforest Cafe while we're visiting Disney but I'm worried the loud noises may scare him. Should I wait to take him when he's older?

    Hi Samantha!

I love the atmosphere and ambiance of the Rainforest Cafe and have been there many times with my little ones at all ages.  No one knows your son better than you, so I recommend you do what you think is best for him.  If you decide to skip it this time there are plenty of other delicious dining locations to choose from. In my experience, my children have never been scared or worried about the loud noises and when my son was younger, he was quite squeamish about such things.  The thunderstorms are definitely muted by the regular restaurant noise and he has always been fascinated watching all of the animals.

Like the saying goes, "Mama knows best," so you will have to be the one to decide what is right for your family, but I am happy to offer my experience.

Please let me know if there is anything else I can help you with.  Your son will have a wonderful time whatever you choose.

    Have a magical trip!
