I am thinking about taking my 5 year old son to Cinderella's Royal Table for dinner one night during our stay. Are there characters there besides princesses? What parts of the experience/dinner are geared towards boys?

Hi, Heather! Cinderella's Royal Table is awesome for boys. For starters, boys get swords at the door. How cool as that?! Girls get wands.

Q: Which one would give you more of an edge in hand-to-hand combat: a wand or a sword?
    A: Sword.

    Conclusion? Boys win.

When it comes to characters, Cinderella's Royal Table is all princesses. The experience isn't all that girly either (trust me, though I know it must be hard coming from a dad on the Moms Panel.) Seriously though. It's a 5 year old boy's DREAM!

My boys have dined with the princesses at Cinderella's Royal Table and Akershus when they were 6 months old, 18 months old, 3, 4 and 5. And they loved it!

Since so many people are bringing their daughters to the princess dining experiences, the Disney princesses do such a good job of giving special attention to the boys. Your son is going to love it!
