We are thinking of taking our two year old twins to mickeys not so scary Halloween party. They seem to be afraid of people in costumes, would it be a total waste of money or is there additional stuff for them to do that is worth the extra cost?

    Hi Jamie:

My family loves Mickey's Not So Scary Halloween Party.  We enjoy the party atmosphere, the special characters, the trick or treating, and having short lines on rides.

The characters are fairly easy to avoid, so if your children may not enjoy the characters at their age, they still should have an enjoyable time. However, avoiding Guests in costumes will be almost impossible.  If your children will be upset the entire party seeing other Guests in costume, then the party may not be worth it.  For my family, the short lines for rides and attractions make the experience worth the ticket price.  My boys also really enjoy the trick or treating and the special parade to cap off the night.

For my family, the party has always been worth it, especially because we concentrate on rides trick or treating.  But you know your kids best, so hopefully you have a sense of the party to make a good call.

    Enjoy your vacation.
