Hi moms - I am thinking of taking my two girls, who will be 2 and 5 months, to Magic Kingdom for the day this summer. Do you think that this will be too much of a headache? I'm mainly worried about my 5 month old. Thanks!

    Hi Carolyn!

Thank you for bringing your question to the Disney Parks Moms Panel!

I think that the answer to your question depends on a few things.

    1.  What type of baby is your five-month old?  If she is easy-going, adaptable, not easily agitated with crowds and heat, then it should be fine.  My oldest son was none of those things, so I would never have taken him at that age, but I definitely could have taken my youngest.  Their personalities were (and are) very different!

    2.  How do you deal with all of the same?  I am a planner.  I don't really like crowds, being late, or being hot.  So, that probably wouldn't be the best time for me to go with two little ones.  But again, I am there often in the summer now, and I see tons and tons of happy little babies there having a blast.  They won't remember it, but their parents will certainly remember the joy on their precious little faces:)

    3.  What's your goal?  If your goal is to see and ride every single attraction to get your full money's worth, then I say "NO!".  With kids as little as yours, I think the magic is in the details.  Let them be your guide and follow their cues.  The sites, colors, and sounds will be so entertaining to them!

I hope this helps!  I think you can have a fantastic time with both children or with just your two-year old.  You just need to think about their personalities and go by that!  Please let me know if you have any other questions.
