We are thinking about taking a short trip to Disney World the first weekend in November. I noticed Disney is offering free dining for many of the dates during this time frame, but not the first week in November. Can you tell me why?

    Hi Susan,

I can't tell you the exact reason, but Disney typically runs promotions like these to increase attendance at specific times of the year.  I realize that the weekend in question seems like it might fall at one of those times, but I'm guessing that since Halloween falls mid-week, they may have higher than anticipated attendance from guests who chose to fly in on Halloween and stay throughout the weekend.

    Hope this helps.

After spending 25 years in RI, my husband and I relocated to GA with our youngest, who is now in high school. I took my first trip to Walt Disney World when I was 11 and I have traveled many times since then with all different party sizes. From creating our first itinerary as a honeymooner to later creating magical experiences for our multigenerational family gatherings, every aspect of planning a vacation has been pure joy to me.  Learn More About Diane
