I am thinking about taking my family of 4 on the Disney’s Pirates and Pals Fireworks Voyage while we are there the week after Thanksgiving.Does it run that time of year? What time does it usually start?Would I need to buy a ticket for my 2 yr old (almost 3)

Welcome to the Disney Parks Moms Panel Leslie ~

My family loves the Pirates and Pals Fireworks Voyage. Weather permitting (they do sail in rain and when it is cold), this adventure sails year round Friday through Monday evenings. There have been times in the past that they added other days during holidays and peak seasons.

The Pirates and Pals Fireworks Voyage begins one hour and 15 minutes prior to whenever the fireworks are scheduled at the Magic Kingdom that evening. You can find the sailing schedule during your trip by clicking on the link provided above. Once you reach that page, you will see the time for the current date and a small calendar icon. Click on that icon and select a date (Friday - Monday) during your visit and it should bring up the time. They usually put the calendar up about 180 days in advance so not all of November is posted yet.

Guests under the age of 3 sail free. You will not need to purchase a ticket for any little buccaneers in your family if they are under 3 on the day of your voyage but you will need to include them in the total number sailing.

Reservations are highly recommended and can be made 180 days in advance by calling 407-WDW-PLAY.

Please feel free to visit us with all of your planning questions. We are hEAR for you!

Wishing you minnie magical memories :-) Allison V.
