I was thinking about taking a 4 day cruise to the bahamas in March. I am concerned about the weather. We have been on one in April and it was freezing...especially the water. What are your thoughts about the weather in March?

    Hey, Sheri!

My family and I have been lucky enough to have sailed with Disney Cruise Line in the spring, summer, winter and fall -- and we actually experienced our most pleasant weather in April to the Bahamas.  The highs were in the upper 80s which made the chilly water temperatures quite wonderful. Therefore, you really can never tell, but it's a good guess that springtime in the Caribbean is going to be warm. What you experienced was not the norm. It's a fairly safe bet that you'll experience a warm sailing to the Bahamas in March.

You'll probably want to check in with a weather resource like Weather.com before you pack or sail, but I always pack a jacket for each member of my family no matter what time of year we sail. I hope this helps, and please let me know if I can answer any more questions for you.

Have a wonderful day and a magical vacation. Bon voyage!
