Ahoy, Beth!
Welcome to the Disney Parks Moms Panel! It's always so wonderful seeing a question sail by from a fellow Disney-loving mama from Illinois! How exciting that you're thinking about taking a
Disney Cruise next spring. Springtime is often still quite chilly in Chicago, so setting sail to paradise will be the perfect escape.
You will be amazed at the different areas and
activities on each deck aboard each of the four vessels. If you have a cruiser who would enjoy a quieter cruise, I'm happy to share that he can find so many hidden nooks and crannies throughout the ship, perfect for reading or drawing. There are large portholes with padded seats for him to curl up on and escape the hustle and bustle of the Youth Clubs while overlooking the ocean. Although there aren't libraries onboard, there are areas of each ship where your buccaneer can find small tables and cushy chairs where he can comfortably sit and enjoy his drawing!
Each day you'll receive a Personal Navigator newsletter delivered to your stateroom. The newsletter will have the schedule of activities for the day. One of the activities that is often offered during each voyage is called "Disney Animation Creating a Character". During this seminar, your son will learn how to draw his favorite Disney Characters! If you think he might enjoy this, definitely keep your eye out for it in your Personal Navigator newsletter during your voyage.
Beth, thank you so much for stopping by! If you think of any more questions while you plan your unforgettable Disney Cruise, don't hesitate to come back and visit us again!
