Hi Moms, We are thinking about taking a cruise in December 2016. We have visit WDW in Nov. Is the weather going to be colder during that time frame? Thank you!

Welcome to the Disney Parks Moms Panel and we sure do appreciate you cruising by, Teresa!

December is a gorgeous time to go on a Disney Cruise vacation. The holidays are extra special out on the high seas and you'll get to enjoy a Very MerryTime Cruise during this special time of the year. The ship will be all decked out! It will be beautiful and festive - and sets the tone for the most magical holiday vacation for you and your family.

November and December tend to be the cooler months in the eastern region. I've traveled to Orlando in the month of December, and the temperatures can sometimes change quickly on you from very cold winter like temperatures, to nice and warm! It still won't be as cold as how you define cold in Idaho, I'm sure :-). Weather in the Bahamas will still be nice, with temperatures hovering around 70's and low 80 degrees fahrenheit. So, you'll still be able to pack light on your cruise. Just be sure to bring an extra sweater for cooler evenings out on the deck.

I hope you get to go on your special 2016 Holiday Cruise, Teresa! I'm sure it will be lots of fun for the whole family.

    Happy planning!
