We are thinking about staying at the Wilderness lodge for our Oct. 2008 trip. Is the boat from Wilderness lodge to MK direct or does it first stop elsewhere like Ft. Wilderness?

The Green Flag Launch services both the Wilderness Lodge and the Ft. Wilderness Resort. If you are utilizing the boat any time prior to 3 p.m., the boat will already have been to Ft. Wilderness when you board at the Wilderness Lodge. Thus, you will then go directly to the Magic Kingdom.

After 3 p.m., the route changes so when exiting the Magic Kingdom, the Wilderness Lodge guests will be dropped off first. However if you board the boat at the Wilderness Lodge after 3 p.m., you will be stopping at Ft. Wilderness before arriving the Magic Kingdom.

    So, morning route:
Ft. Wilderness to Wilderness Lodge to Magic Kingdom, then circling back to Ft. Wilderness

    After 3 p.m.:
Ft. Wilderness to Magic Kingdom to Wilderness Lodge, then circling back to Ft. Wilderness

Our family enjoys traveling via the boat except on chilly nights.

    Have a great October trip!
