HI! I was thinking about staying in a WDW resort. DO I need to rent a car? WIll I use it? thank you!

    Hi Noelia!!

My family and I usually drive to the Walt Disney World Resort on our vacations.  With that being said, we have been there a whole week and never even moved our car.  You can click on the following link to see the various modes of Disney Resort Transportation that are offered while on the Walt Disney World Resort.

With that being said, if you are wanting the peace of mind to have transportation to go to the grocery store or other locations, I could see how a rental car would be a possibility.  You could also utilize local taxi service should you find yourself needing to leave the resort for anything.  This might be a cheaper alternative so you are not paying for a rental car on days that you may not even need it!

I hope this answers your question and that you have a magical trip!!!
