We are thinking of staying at the Waldorf Astoria Orlando and we booked ground transportation through Disney. Are we going to be picked up at the hotel just fine?

Hi Nikka Paola, welcome back to planDisney!

The planning stage for a trip to Walt Disney World Resort is so fun and full of possibility, as you decide where to dine, what activities you want to try, what the must-ride attractions are, and, perhaps most importantly, where you will stay! The Waldorf Astoria Orlando oozes luxury, and perusing the photo gallery online has me wanting to book my own stay there as soon as possible!

This hotel has some wonderful amenities and awesome benefits, including shuttle service to all four Disney World theme parks as well as Disney Springs. Check with guest services at the hotel to get an idea of the schedule for these shuttles. That way you can ensure prompt arrival for whatever magical adventures you have planned, from rope-drop at a theme park to a dining reservation at your favorite restaurant.

If you're wondering about travel from the airport to your hotel, I suggest you take a look at this transportation frequently asked question. It may prove helpful in determining which hotels can be reached via a service like Minnie Van and which might require you to make other arrangements via a rideshare service or private ground transportation.

I hope this information helps you make your hotel choice a little bit easier, Nikka Paola! There is no shortage of wonderful places to stay at Walt Disney World Resort, so you really can't go wrong! If you need additional help or if I didn't quite answer your question, please visit us again right here at planDisney!

    Stay magical,
    Scott
