I am thinking of staying at Port Orlean's Riverside. Do all the rooms come with the trundle bed or do you have to request one? Also, how do you go about requesting a room that is not a long walk to the bus stop, dinner etc? Which area would we request?

    Hi Amy!

Love, love, love Port Orleans Riverside!  Rooms that are designed to sleep five guests are only found in the Alligator Bayou section.  The trundle beds have actually been replaced by larger pull down single beds and the double beds have been upgraded to Queens!  If you are a party of five, you will automatically be placed in one of these rooms.  Otherwise, you must request one when you make your reservations.  While it cannot be guaranteed, they will do their best to accommodate you.

The rooms in Alligator Bayou are separated into Preferred and Standard rooms, based on their proximity to the Food Court, restaurant and main lobby.  For the absolute closest rooms, I suggest spending a little extra and getting a Preferred Room in either Building 14, 15, 18 or 27.  Building 14 is the BEST!  Or for a Standard room that is still pretty darn close to the action, I would request Building 16.  Have an amazing vacation!
