Thinking of staying at the POR this upcoming October and had a question about walking the property. Other than walking around the PO property(FQ AND RIV) are their any paths leading to EPCOT or any OTHER adjacent property or must I take Disney Transp???

Hi, Louis!   There are no theme parks within walking distance from the Port Orleans resorts.    As you mentioned, you can walk between Riverside and the French Quarter. Also, there is boat transportation to Downtown Disney.   Other than that, you will have to use Disney bus transportation to get around the WDW property or you can drive if you have a car.

Port Orleans Riverside and French Quarter are both beautiful resorts and would be a great choice for your October vacation!

Meet the Panelist: Cathy, Ohio

Hi, I'm Cathy from Cleveland. I love to travel, especially in the winter to escape the cold of Ohio! My husband and 2 kids share my enthusiasm for travel, so we enjoy our adventures together whether it is sailing with Disney Cruise Line, running (or cheering!) at runDisney events, taking hula lessons at Aulani, or vacationing at the Walt Disney World which is our home away from home. I am proud to be a part of the planDisney team and cannot wait to share my tips and advice for a magical vacation
