We are thinking of staying at the PC for the first time. I want the 4th floor, but have bad knees. Are there elevators in the buildings?

Hello Jaynee! Welcome back to the Disney Parks Moms Panel.

Disney's Pop Century Resort is one of my favorite Walt Disney World Resort Hotels. The combination of whimsical nostalgia, the Everything POP Shopping and Dining and convenient location make it a value resort with extra-valuable benefits.

Like most of the Walt Disney World Resort Hotels, the buildings are equipped with centrally-located elevators for Guests to bypass the stairs and get up to the higher level floors. When you Check-In Online up to 60 days in advance of your vacation, be sure to select a request to be close to the elevators as some of the rooms on the ends of buildings are quite a ways from the elevator.

If you are looking for accommodations that cut down a little on added walking distances, I recommend that you consider a Preferred Room in the 60s Section of Disney's Pop Century Resort or a Standard Room in building 1 or 3 in the 50s Section to limit the walk between your Resort Hotel Room, the pools and the Main Building.

    Have a Groovy Vacation!
