Thinking about staying at Grand Floridian for our next trip to Disney in January. I'm wondering if the CLUB level is worth it?? For the price difference, is it worth it, have the continental breakfast etc? Thanks.

Hi Wendy! I think I just answered another question concerning the Grand Floridian Club Level.

This is always a tough question to answer as we all have different priorities when spending our money for vacations.  I have had wonderful vacations staying on the Club Levels and just as wonderful ones when not!

Our family does enjoy having the opportunity to enjoy a nice breakfast in the lounge before we start our day in the busy parks.  It is an important meal and taking the time to eat fresh and healthy foods before heading out seems to give us the energy we need.  My favorite part of the day in the lounge is the early evening when the warm appetizers are out and we can sit and enjoy a glass of wine reflecting on what we did that day. However, this is also the time when we often have dinner reservations so we don't always take advantage of this time during our stay. It is not to take the place of dinner but it is a nice way to start an evening.  We like early dinner times so with the lounge opening at 5:00pm we often miss the treats!

One of the best perks to being on this level is that you can use the concierge services to secure all of your dining and recreation reservations during your stay.  With one call to them you can then relax and await your magical vacation! It is also nice to have the Club Level concierges to help with last minute changes or reservations while you are there. They will be glad to help with all of that plus your travel needs such as boarding passes and airport transportation.

Club Level vacations certainly take some of the stress out of your planning and knowing they are there if you need anything is a great peace of mind to many families. Again, this doesn't mean you can't have a great vacation staying in a non Club Level room so you have to decide on the best use of the money you have set aside for your upcoming vacation and the priorities for a great stay at Walt Disney World.
