Hi, I was thinking of staying at the Caribbean Beach in May, but since the pool is under renovation I am hesitant. What other hotel would you recommend (budget aside) for my family of 3 (2 adults & a 5 Year old princess) for our first visit to WDW?

Yes it is unfortunate that the Caribbean Beach pool is closed during your stay.  I hope I can give you a few suggestions to look into.

    My recommendations would be:
Port Orleans French Quarter - great pool for younger children, nice boat ride to Downtown Disney

Animal Kingdom Lodge - breathtaking resort with wonderful savannah views, zero entry pool

Beach Club - fantastic Stormalong Bay pool, walk to Epcot, boat to Hollywood Studios

Polynesian - sandy beach, close to Magic Kingdom, great pool

Grand Floridian - perfect for any princess, close to Magic Kingdom, many kid activities, nice pool

    Best wishes!
