    We are thinking of staying at Beach Club for a quick trip in late January, just wondering if pool was open at that time and if it is heated?

    Hi Kelly,

    Stormalong Bay at Disney's Beach Club Resort is such a great area!  It has an amazing water slide, a lazy river, and a sand bottom.  It is a really fun pool area.

    All of the pools at Walt Disney World are heated, and are open year-round, barring any refurbishments.  So yes, Stormalong Bay should be open when you visit.  The outdoor temperature may be a little chilly to swim in January, but especially if you have little ones along, I bet they will want to take the plunge!  Once in the water, it will be comfortable.  Just be sure that you have lots of towels to wrap up in when you get out of the pool.
