    We are thinking about staying at The Art of Animation Resort for our vacation (May 2015). We want to get to the gates well before rope drop but the buses only start an hour before the parks open. How can we make this work or do we have to stay at a Deluxe?

    Thanks for stopping by the Moms Panel to ask your question. Being able to be a part of a park opening is one of the best memories of a Walt Disney World vacation! I can understand how eager you may be to experience it.

    While Disney Bus Transportation does begin about an hour before theme park opening, there are a few ways to get there even earlier:
    • Speak to Guest Services at Disney's Art of Animation. Let them know what time you would like to reach the parks, and inquire about an early bus. Some resorts offer transportation even earlier than an hour before park opening, for guests that may have early Advanced Dining Reservations.
    • Arrange for a taxi service. This would be the easiest way to arrive at the theme parks at the time you would like. It's a surprisingly affordable, and Guest Services can help make arrangements for you.
