Hi, I am thinking about staying at AOA and was curious if it is better to stay near the Lion King rooms because it is closer to the bus stop or if the walk is not that much longer to the cars suites? Thank you

    Hi Katherine,

I think you will love the Art of Animation resort, regardless of which section you choose. I would go for the theme that best matches your family's interest because the rooms and the outdoor areas immerse you in the stories.

My family stayed in a Cars suite there in December, in the building that is farthest from Animation Hall. It was an easy walk of only 3 minutes or so to the bus stop, the Big Blue Pool and the Landscape of Flavors food court.

It often took us longer than that, though, because we stopped to look at the Cars characters along the way. My husband is a car guy, and he got a kick out of the Cars-themed rooms and outdoor areas. He's the one who kept stopping to take pictures of the statues of Lightning McQueen, Luigi, Mater and the other characters.

He also loved all the Cars details of the suite, including the sofa that looks like a bench seat in a 1950s automobile.

I hope that helps. Please let us know if we can answer any more questions. Enjoy your time with your family!
