We're thinking of staying at Animal Kingdom Kidana Villas. Will this be easy to access all of the parks from this resort? Like everyone, I want this to be a memorable, enjoyable trip for my kids; but not overwhelming to see everything.

Gretchen your kids WILL remember and enjoy this trip. Just remember what can make a Walt Disney World vacation seem overwhelming is the vast amount of experiences you have to choose from, not the distance from your resort to the parks.

Disney's Animal Kingdom Lodge is the most unique resort on WDW property. Exotic animals grazing outside your room and sleeping so close to where you sleep is a hard to beat experience. This resort is obviously close to Disney's Animal Kingdom but your bus ride will be longer to the other three theme parks. Whether you pick the atmosphere of Disney's Animal Kingdom Lodge or a resort closer to Magic Kingdom or Epcot is just a personal preference.

Disney's Animal Kingdom Lodge is one of my favorites and we will be staying there this summer. Getting to an early character breakfast or the Magic Kingdom's rope drop requires more effort but I am willing to make the trade off. This resort has an amazing zero entry pool and water play area, restaurants that serve food with an exotic flair, African animals, and a bridge in the lobby!

No worries! The question of whether to stay at Disney's Animal Kingdom Lodge, a monorail resort close to the Magic Kingdom, or an Epcot area resort does not have a bad answer. Any choice will provide a great place to stay for your magical vacation.

Please let me know if you have additional questions about other resorts or any other aspect of planning your vacation. I would love to help.
