Thinking about staying at AKL our last night at disney. Want to view the animals. Which area is the best for animal viewing.? 2 rooms or villa Myself, my adult children & families (5a, children 8, 4, 18m, 23 m).

    Hi Shawn,

My family just loves staying at Animal Kingdom Lodge.  We have stayed in both the regular rooms and one and two bedroom villas.  I would recommend a two bedroom villas that has a savannah view.  You can either be at Jambo House (the main house) or Kidani Village.  If you choose Kidani (which is fantastic as well), I would recommend a villa close to the elevator to minimize the amount of walking you will do especially with the little ones.  The two bedroom villas are enormous, and you will have a full kitchen with a washer and dryer that is perfect for all nine of you.  My children who are ages 8, 11, and 14 actually will get up early without us asking them to and look out the veranda at the giraffe, zebra, and the Ankole Cattle that are grazing.  There are not many resorts in the world where you can do this, let alone in the United States!  You should also check out the amazing pools that Animal Kingdom have as well as the children's water play area at Kidani Village.  I know that you will have such a magical time at Animal Kingdom Villas!
