I am thinking of spending my 40th birthday at WDW and would be joined by my family members - ages 9 to 67! I would really like to do some unique experiences with my family - both activities and meals. Thanks for your help!

    Hi Lesley,

The Walt Disney World Resort is truly magical for guests of all ages, and THE perfect place to celebrate magical happenings.

My absolute favorite restaurant to commemorate special occasions is California Grill. I recommend making reservations for about an hour and a half before Happily Ever After. You will be able to enjoy incredible views of Magic Kingdom Park with the spectacular fireworks bursting over Cinderella Castle. That experience alone will be practically perfect in every way!

Pandora – The World of Avatar at Disney's Animal Kingdom Theme Park is a "must do." This new land offers a wondrous world of exploration. The astonishing Valley of Mo'ara, with its floating mountains and bioluminescent fauna and flora, is quite a stunning sight to behold! Your family won't even have to ride the newest attractions to truly appreciate this impressive land – which must be experienced both day and at night! However, I do strongly suggest securing FastPass+ for Avatar Flight of Passage.

Did You Know? It's possible to plan a multigenerational family vacation via The Grand Adventure, Big Fun for Big Kids and Pre-School Kids & Little Ones. These are excellent planning tools filled with useful tips, advice, suitable attractions and so much more!

Wishing you a pixie dusted 40th birthday celebration at the Walt Disney World Resort!
