Thinking of signing up for Pirates and Pals Voyage for myself my husband and 4 year old daughter. How long are u actually on the boat? Are there bathrooms? We have res for Ohana the night that we would do the cruise, how do u get to contemporary from poly?

    Hi Carrie!

Sounds like you are planning a very exciting evening!  We love the Pirates and Pals Fireworks Voyage and I highly recommend it!

Typically, you are on the boat somewhere between 55 - 60 minutes.  However, this can vary a little based on all of the variables they may have to contend with during the voyage.  On nights when there are special fireworks presentations at the Magic Kingdom, you could be out on the water for a little longer.

There are restrooms located in the Contemporary Resort for the "land" portion of the experience.  There are also restrooms located outside the Contemporary near the pool just before you walk out onto the dock.  Patch the Pirate will give you one last chance along your walk for a restroom break as you make your way towards the dock for your voyage.  This is also a convenient place to stop on your way back in from the voyage if necessary.  There are no restrooms on the boats and there is no chance for a "potty break" while you're out on the water so you may want to plan your fluid intake accordingly.

From 'Ohana, you can board the Resort Monorail line from the second floor of the Polynesian Resort which is on the same floor as 'Ohana.  The Contemporary Resort will be the third stop once you're on board.   If you're staying on property, its a short walk from the Contemporary to the Magic Kingdom bus stop to take a bus back to your resort following your voyage.

Please feel free to visit us with all of your planning questions. We're hEAR for you!

Wishing you minnie magical memories :-) Allison V.
