Hi!! I was thinking of sending a package to my hotel (Polynesian) ahead of time filled with snacks and other misc. items that would save us from packing in our suitcases. How far in advance should I send the package and do you think this is a good idea?

    Hi Nicole,

I have sent items to our Disney Resort prior to our arrival a number of times.  When my kids were small, I used to send down diapers, wipes and baby food to ensure I had a supply when we arrived.  Now, I find that shipping items is a great way to to avoid dealing with some air travel restrictions and baggage fees.  I recommend visiting the local shipping agent (UPSP, UPS, FedEx, DHS, etc.) that you plan on using and ask how long your package would take to travel to Orlando.  Just to be safe, I would tack on an extra day or two to allow for any unforseen delays with your shipment.

The mailing address of the Polynesian Resort is:

    Disney's Polynesian Resort
    1600 Seven Seas Drive
    Lake Buena Vista, FL 32830

Clearly label your box, and on the front, put your name, the word "GUEST", and the date of your arrival. When you check in, simply explain that you shipped a box, and the Cast Member assisting you will let you know where to pick it up or have it delivered to your room.

    Have a wonderful trip!
