    Hi. I am thinking of scheduling a DVC tour for our trip in October to find out all about DVC. Can I take the tour by myself, or does my whole family have to go with me? (I'm thinking of leaving my hubby and daughter at the pool at Beach Club!)

    It's great to hear you're exploring Disney Vacation Club Membership and thinking of taking a Guided Tour. We have thoroughly enjoyed our Disney Vacation Club experiences in our 12 years of membership. We love our stays at each of our two Home Resorts — Disney's Saratoga Springs Resort & Spa and Bay Lake Tower at Disney's Contemporary Resort. We also love having the opportunity to explore all the other Disney Vacation Club destinations. We have so many cherished memories from all our Disney Vacation Club stays.

    What I love about the Disney Vacation Club Guided Tours is that they are relaxed and informative. While there's no requirement for you and your husband to take the tour together, I would personally strongly encourage you both take in the experience. As Disney Vacation Club is a vacation ownership program, I think it's so very helpful for the key decision makers to hear all the information together and meet with your Disney Vacation Club Guide to ask questions. The Preview Center does offer a supervised play area for kids. Our son was about 7 when we took the tour and he had fun just hanging out in the play area while my wife and I met with our Disney Vacation Club Guide. We found the whole tour experience to be a laid-back, no-pressure delightful time with a friendly Disney Vacation Club Guide. In addition to the in-person tours, you can also take a virtual tour from the comfort of your own home and convenience of your own computer or tablet while speaking with a Disney Vacation Club Cast Member by calling (800) 500-3990.
