    We are thinking of running the castaway cay 5k on our cruise and wanted to see can we bring our extra clothes for the day to stay at the beach? Or would we need to go back to ship to grab our things for the day ?

    Hi Kaela,

    Thanks for writing.  The Castaway Cay 5K is a perfect start to an amazing day on Disney's private island.  When I run, I usually just quickly grab a lounge chair and put my swimsuit and other non-valuables there before heading to the start line.  There is also a large "bin" where runners can store things they need to have on the island following the race.  You absolutely won't need to return back to the ship.  I don't recommend storing valuables while you race, so I would put any cash or ID in a runner's pouch and carry it with you.
