Hi, Christine!
I’m so glad to hear you’re planning a visit to the Disneyland Resort. It’s so wonderful seeing the Happiest Place on Earth through our kids’ eyes! Yes, you should be able to take your stroller into the
restrooms in the theme parks, and most do contain compact changing table spaces. Another option for you are the companion-assisted restroom facilities, which are private units large enough for a stroller or wheelchair and also have changing tables inside.
The
Baby Care Centers in the parks provide full-size changing tables, high chairs and baby food prepping areas with a sink and microwave. You can find the Baby Care Center in Disneyland Park at the end of Main Street, U.S.A., next to First Aid. In Disney California Adventure Park, it’s located next to Ghirardelli Soda Fountain and Chocolate Shop and across from The Bakery Tour in Pacific Wharf.
Strollers rented directly from the
Disneyland Resort may be used in Disney California Adventure Park and Disneyland Park, but they cannot be taken to the Downtown Disney District or the resort hotels. I’m not sure if that kind of rental would be the best fit for your child’s needs if you’re visiting the resort for more than one day. If you would like access to a stroller with extra amenities (like a large sun canopy, reclining ability, ample cushioning and a parent console with cup holders) that can be taken to the Downtown Disney District and your hotel room at night, a better option for your family might be renting from an outside company in the area. I hope this information helps, Christine. Please send more questions our way as your vacation approaches!
Wishing you magic,
Courtney
