Thinking of renting a Montauk boat when at Disney later this year. Would like to explore Bay Lake/Seven Seas Lagoon.Where is best location to rent from based on likely availability/easiest location Contemporary, Polynesian, or Grand Floridian?

    Welcome back, Maggie!

I like your style! Renting a motorized boat is a fantastic way to explore the Seven Seas Lagoon and Bay Lake. My family loves to take the Sea Raycers, the mini-powerboats for up to 2 Guests, out for a couple of laps around the area and take in the unique views from the water. We have rented from the Contemporary, Polynesian and Grand Floridian marinas, and plan to rent again at Grand Floridian because we like starting at one end of the lagoon and not the middle. Since you plan to rent a Boston Whaler Montauk, a larger vessel, I suggest contacting a Recreation Specialist, who can assist you with availability, pricing, and rental details. I would hate for you to go to one marina and find there is no availability when you could have easily rented the boat at another location.

I hope this helps, and thanks for asking us another excellent question!

    Happy Exploring!
