Hey there, Lori! Welcome back to planDisney! Disney snacks are serious business, and I'm so glad you've stopped by with such a great planning question! Let's chat snacks!
My favorite
Walt Disney World Resort snack hack and budget tip is to purchase an adorable refillable popcorn bucket on your first theme park day. That way, you and your entire crew can enjoy discounted refills of this salty goodness at all four of the theme parks for your entire length of stay. Last month, my family and I purchased the Mickey Mouse 50th Anniversary refillable popcorn bucket, so I spent plenty of time exploring my refill options and am thrilled to share my findings.
The vast majority of the popcorn you will find eligible for discounted refills at the popcorn carts in the theme parks will be buttered, salted popcorn. Unfortunately, I did not find any kettle corn as a refill option on my popcorn journey. But Hakuna Matata! It means "no worries!" If kettle corn or sweeter popcorn is more your style, I did find that the carts in Disney's Animal Kingdom Theme Park had colorful, fruity-flavored popcorn, and it was delicious. And as always, some of the best popcorn in Walt Disney World Resort is the sweet and salty maple popcorn found at the popcorn cart outside of the Canada pavilion in EPCOT. Mmmm. Pass the popcorn, please!
As a kettle corn lover, you must stop by
Kat Saka's Kettle in
Star Wars: Galaxy's Edge at Disney's Hollywood Studios. As far as I know, this popcorn is not eligible for the discounted refills in your popcorn bucket, but it will be worth the visit. A Cold Brew Black Caf with sweet and spicy popcorn?! Yes, please!
I hope this was helpful, Lori, and I hope you and your travel party have the most magical time, full of munchies, on your upcoming vacation in just a couple of weeks! Please stop by any time with any questions you may have along the way. You've got a friend in me!
Happy snacking!
