    We are thinking of purchasing Disney gift cards to use for spending when we go to Disneyland. Are we able to use these at the food carts and eating areas all though out the park. Such as pacific wharf cafe. And churro stands .? These are Canadian cards

    You’re going to Disneyland Resort - YAY! The great news is, that you will be able to use your Disney Gift Cards Resort-wide at participating venues, please refer to the Disney Gift Card Terms & Conditions - Canada for the fine print we all love! Now I’m thinking all about Churros!

    What a coincidence, I just recently ordered my Disney Gift Card eGift in preparation for my upcoming visit for our wedding anniversary! There are two ways to go about using Disney Gift Cards, and it depends on what is best for you.

    I purchased a Disney Gift Card eGift online in U.S. currency and within 24-hours I received an email confirmation with the card ID number and barcode, and in the email, there was an active link that I tapped which then added the card directly to my mobile device digital wallet. I chose to absorb the exchange rates and transaction fees on my credit card because for me the convenience outweighed the charges - although my husband would disagree.

    Another method that I also use, is to add my Disney Gift Cards into my Disneyland Mobile App payment method - you can add up to 6 payment methods.

    To add a payment method to your account on the Disneyland Mobile App:
    1. Open the Home Screen tap on the three stacked lines on the bottom right.  
    2. On the Welcome Jennifer page, scroll down to and tap My Profile.
    3. On My Profile look for and tap Payment Method near the bottom.
    4. Tap on +Add a Payment Method to manually enter the ID number of your Disney Gift Card/s.

    Jennifer, since you mentioned the Pacific Wharf Café - now I’m thinking about Soup in a Sourdough Bread Bowl, it's so delicious and really close to the bread bowls in San Francisco! You should be fine using your Disney Gift Card to enjoy - did someone say, “Shrimp Roll?” You will also be able to have your food ready and waiting if you participate in Mobile Food & Beverage Ordering right from your Disneyland Mobile App as long as you have a valid payment method on the account.
