    We are thinking of purchase Annual Passes for our trip Jan. 22-29 2016 BUT we are also going beginning of January 2017 for the Marathon Weekend. When do the pass activate? Date of purchase or date of activation into a park or check in at the hotel?

    How wonderful to be thinking about purchasing Walt Disney World Resort Annual Passes! It only takes a couple of trips to have the investment pay for itself and really what better reason to encourage spending more time in the magic? 

    I double checked with Passholder Services to make sure the specifications hadn't changed with the pass upgrades made in this year and have been assured, if you are purchasing your Annual Pass for the first time and are not a Florida Resident, the passes begin with your first use not the date of purchase.
