We are thinking of planning a trip to WDW from April 10, 2010 through April 14, 2010. Do you think this will be a crowded time? We are traveling with two young boys and I don't want the stress of long lines. Thanks in advance.

    Hi Christina,

Deciding when to take your Walt Disney World vacation is probably the hardest part of the vacation planning process!  For my family, anticipated crowd levels is probably the biggest factor in our decision, because like you I don't like the stress of keeping little ones occupied and happy while waiting in long lines.

In my honest opinion, if there is any way that you could push your vacation off a couple weeks I think there will be a significant difference in crowd levels.  The dates you indicated fall right after the Easter holiday week, and right in the middle of many Northeast schools' vacation schedule.  If I were considering this time period I would opt for the very last week in April or the first week in May (before Mothers day).

If you are REALLY flexible on your schedule, January and September are by far my favorite (least crowded) months to visit Walt Disney World.

    Hope this helps!
