I am thinking about planning a trip with my husband and 4 year old for Oct 7-13 2009. Is that a good time of year to come. How busy is it and how is weather? Also is my child too young to come to Disney for first time?

Hi Wendi!  Okay first part of the question ... I love going in October, as the weather is just fantastic.  It is very hard to judge how crowds will be, especially if that is a weekend when MK will be hosting Mickey's Not So Scary Halloween Party.  Special events do tend to draw larger crowds to the parks, but no matter that should still be a great week to go.  If is is a little crowded plan to hit the parks early, and take advantage of the Fast Passes.
And now the second part - absolutely without a doubt I would tell you your 4 year old is not too young.  That is actually, in my opinion, one of the very best times to go.  A 4 year old is simply in awe over everything from the attractions to the characters.  I loved going when my girls were this age.  If you need any other planning tips, please don't hesitate to email us again.
