Hi Megan,
Welcome to planDisney! I am delighted to see that you are planning a visit to the Walt Disney World Resort!
To help you plan, there are several guides that might be helpful. Take a look at the
Entertainment Schedule and filter by All Parks and Resorts if you want to see all entertainment or filter by theme park if you want to see what is happening at each park. Also review the
Character Experiences to see which character experiences are available at each theme park.
If you will have little ones with you, be sure to review the
Attractions List to check the height requirements for each ride. I also suggest that you scan the Park Guide maps for each theme park -
Magic Kingdom,
EPCOT,
Disney's Hollywood Studios, and
Disney's Animal Kingdom. We like to plan with geography in mind so that we are not unnecessarily walking back and forth across a park.
I would suggest that you nail down the dates of your visit and book a
vacation package soon. Once you book a vacation package, you will need to link that package in your
My Disney Experience account so that you can make
Disney Park Pass system reservations. Also keep your eye on the
Taste of EPCOT International Festival of the Arts. If it continues next year, you may get there just at the end of it.
As more experiences reopen, I also suggest that you periodically check the
Enchanting Extras to see what might be available during your visit. We have enjoyed several tours and special dining experiences, like
Dine with an Animal Specialist, in the past. Although Dine with an Animal Specialist is temporarily unavailable now, given the dates of your visit, additional experiences may be available again by the time you arrive.
Megan, keep up the fantastic planning. We are here to welcome you to the magic!
Magic and memories,
Donyell
